AvtoVAZ says sales drop 69% to 10,055 units in April
MOSCOW, May 12 (PRIME) -- The sales of Russia’s largest carmaker AvtoVAZ dropped nearly 69% on the year to 10,055 vehicles in April, the company said in a statement on May 11.
“Lada summed up the results of the first month in the ‘self-isolation’ mode, in April sales amounted to 10,055 cars, including Niva sales of 659 units. The top 3 most popular Lada cars were headed by the Granta family models with a result of 3,058 cars. The Vesta family was on the second place by popularity. In April, 2,913 Lada Vesta cars were sold. The third place went to passenger versions of the Largus family – 1,286 cars,” the company said.
